A+ Yoga evolved from a local yoga studio in Westchester NY. Westchester Yoga had a world-class RYT200 program that took decades of constant improvements. Wendy, the owner of WYoga developed the RYT200, 300, RYT500 offered at WYoga. The courses were key to sharing the wisdom she gained, taking her small studio from struggle to profitability and cash flow. The Covid-19 pandemic was the catalyst for Wendy to close the physical studio. Despite offers and her students begging her to reopen a studio, she understood that her journey as a studio owner was complete.
Wendy, continued her journey connecting with yoga studios, teaching yoga and saw the very real, and sometimes, painful struggle for nascent studios and experienced teachers. Let’s be honest being any kind of yoga entrepreneur is a five-ringed circus. We wear many hats, do a plethora of jobs. It pinched her heart to see so many yoga studios struggle to offer and host their own training, even when their students were clamoring at the door. She brainstormed during a yoga retreat at Phuket All Yoga Studio in Thailand. And the concept of A+ Yoga appeared, in a little notebook, going from blurry to concrete.
To have your own training, you need ideas, time, research, patience with administrative challenges, a certain ease with writing and knowledge of how to train the trainer.

Wendy firmly believes that the world needs more yoga, and that yoga needs to be more accessible and easily available.
